different meetings held across the County, which members of the
Supporting People team attend. Below you can find details of some
of these meetings, along with the most recent minutes.

Commissioning
Body – The
Commissioning Body is responsible for the accountability and delivery
of Supporting People. The Chair of this group is Simon Phelan, and
your Supporting People representative for this forum is Clare Smith,
Head of Supporting People in Suffolk.

Core
Strategy Development Group - This group is responsible
for facilitating the development of supported housing services in
Suffolk and is part of the mechanism for the delivery of the SP
programme. The Chair of this group is David Clarke, and your Supporting
People representative on this group is Vince Gates, Supporting People
Manager.

Improvement Agency Forum –
This forum meets twice a year to discuss HIA issues across
Suffolk. Your Supporting People representative for this forum is

Supporting
People East Region Group – This group
meets every six weeks, to discuss Supporting People issues across

Hostel
Liaison Group - The Ipswich and District
Hostel Liaison Group meets six times a year. The members are made
up from the various Hostels and Support Providers in Ipswich and
the surrounding districts. For more information on this group, please
