County Wide Review of Sheltered Housing
In Suffolk
A County wide review of
sheltered housing for older people has been undertaken by the Sheltered
Housing Project Group (SHPG). During 2005 this group gathered data
on the provision of sheltered housing services across Suffolk. Additionally
the group have produced a draft framework Design and Management
guide to assist providers when reviewing their own sheltered accommodation.
Once this document has been agreed it will be available on Suffolk
County Council's website.
The
Suffolk Supporting People Team, in particular Martin Bedwell, has
undertaken the collation of this collected data, which has been
provided by various organisations. It is recognised that there may
be some inaccuracies because of errors, exclusions or omissions
within the District's accommodation tables.
It is
intended that an annual update of the accommodation listings will
be undertaken at the end of each financial year. We would
ask you to let us know if there are any changes to your organisation's
accommodation.
Please follow the links
below to access the various parts of the review documents.
The stock lists have now been updated for 2006/2007.
