Suffolk Supporting People needs to obtain value for money and seek continuous improvement from all its procurement and commissioning activities whether that is for a new service development or a continuation of services.

Supporting People will procure and commission in a responsible manner that is clearly auditable and accountable to all stakeholders by engaging in the appropriate tender process whilst adhering to the principals of best practice and encouraging competition.

From time to time it will be necessary for Supporting People to tender for support and consultancy services by advertising in local publications in the hope of gaining a high level of interest from current and new providers within the market place.

All providers who apply will receive a copy of the tender documentation and will be treated equally, honestly and fairly.
