Performance Indicators
All
providers need to complete PI returns – they provide
us with a picture of a service, and will be used, along with
other information, as part of the review and monitoring process.
Workbooks
are to be completed and returned to the Supporting People
Team quarterly. The dates for these quarterly reporting periods
are in the table below.

The workbook collects
both Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Performance Indicators
(SPIs). The KPIs involve aggregating data on performance, and the
SPIs are indicators, which focus on the performance of individual
services.
It should be remembered that PI’s are just that, they are
“indicators” of how a service is doing and will be treated
as such.
Performance Indicators provide a “snap-shot” of a
service but this will not be interpreted in isolation. Supporting
People Officers who know your services will talk to you, and offer
help and support to achieve the level of service required by Supporting
People.
